The Hartland Original Roger Maris comes attached to a base that is hard to find flat. Cold temperatures will curve the base on either side. Slight heat applied with a warm iron and a towel in between is said to flatten the base. The only Hartland baseball figurine that did not have a hang tag produced with it.

The Original Maris production was approximately 100,000.

The 25^th Anniversary Maris production was slightly less than 10,000.
